The Great Nebraska Beer Fest is all about American Craft Beer, education on all things craft related, and getting up close and personal with as many brewers, brewery representatives, and distributors of our products as possible.
In that vein, we have assembled a great lineup of Special Events & Educational Seminars to be held around the fest ground as well as in the Seminar tent at the following times.

Panelist: Megan Parisi
Megan Parisi is a head Brewer for Samuel Adams, where she spends most of her days brewing in the nano brewery. But her path of becoming a professional brewer has been wild and somewhat circuitous. Megan graduated Boston University with a Bachelor and Master Degree in Music Performance and became a professional musician. She served nearly five years in the US Navy Band in Washington DC where she played for the President as well as at hundreds of military ceremonies across the country and around the globe. During this time, she was also passionate about home brewing and eventually decided to turn her passion into a profession. To her, brewing is very much like music: extremely creative. Since starting her professional brewing career in 2004, Megan has been a brewer at numerous breweries in Massachusetts and Washington D.C. and today, she couldn’t be happier to work at Sam Adams, the leading craft brewer who has been brewing innovative craft beers for more than 32 years.
Panelist: Sandi Vojta
Miner Brewing Company brewmaster and co-owner, Sandi Vojta, is inspired by the traditional brewing styles of her family’s European heritage. For five generations, her family has been handcrafting beverages in South Dakota. Along with her beer making expertise, Sandi is the winemaker and co-owner of Prairie Berry Winery in Hill City, South Dakota. Sandi infuses regional and seasonal ingredients into the recipes handed down to her, and she has skillfully adapted those traditional styles to create Miner Brewing craft beers with a regional character, setting each distinctly apart from other microbrews.
